Justin, is that true that French fasion and Italian fasion are competitors for each other? And they try to push each other and expand more and more? Why we cant see the more style? Ankara, or saree or another elsse to step in to the competition???
We wore our hot pants. They were short shorts but allowed for our very short matching toppers. All very short and leggy for the 70s. I know we wore them clubbing and discos. Not sure I wore to the office.
Love the metallics trend
I wold wear the tiny shorts inside the house and in the back garden, I would not wear it in the front garden and past the front door.
Yes! Im in!
Thanks Justine I always enjoy your trends videos!

🥰😆 I was dressing up for a birthday party a few weeks ago, and could only get my big earring into one ear (my piercing was blocked in the other, and try as I might, I couldn't get it in). Who knew I was bang on trend! 😂😂🤓😆
I live in the tropics – and athletic wear is what I see all the time – but I want to look more pulled together and chic- I love the idea of curated casual fabrics with Chic style – probably alter thrift prices to create my looks but it’s great and yes I want to paint on a silk jacket
I’ve been wondering when I will ever wear my short black silk Mayle shorts. I thought the shorts were too young for
me and almost gave them away. Now I will put my Rozae Nicols sheer slip dress over them. Old clothes renewed! Thank you Justine!
I loved the effect the white belt (or whatever it could be called) had with the fairly loose fitting black pencil skirt, highlighted at 5:19. Would choose a different top though. Perhaps a men’s shirt to allude to one of the other trends shown.
I would wear short shorts. I just bought a pair of black knit hot pants. I plan to wear them to work with tights or under sheer skirts. Or under shorter dresses in case of wind gusts.
I love these videos, I would love to see more of these kinds of trends videos
On point as always. Thank you for sharing
Tiny shorts are so immodest.
This year, I am only buying basics that help me wear clothes I already own (like long-sleeve shirts to wear under my sweaters and a belt for a dress). However, I like understanding why the people around me are wearing what they are. I love how you explain how we can apply these trends to our daily lives in more practical ways, Justine!
The huge flower on a dress is amazing!!!
I don't wear shorts already, so I don't think the tiny shorts are for me. It kind of reminds me of the shorts/hot pants some Kpop singers wear, but possibly even shorter.
Thanks for useful video
loved it! can add more on how to modify or upgrade existing pieces or old but loved pieces to freshen up wardrobe
I wore hot pants ( tiny short shorts) in the seventies. My favorite pair was white. I wore them with a flowered tunic top with a zipper all the way down the front. My white Barbarella boots that came up in points above my knees completed the look. 😊
im a plus size 53 yr old. I love clothes and love fashion. However, i don't always trust plus size fashion to give me insperation. But this sure did. I have A LOT of clothes and I'm trying the 5 rule just cause i need to slow down here. This definitly gave me inspiration. I remember wearing oversize blazers with hot pants with tights and femme fatale shoes. Mostly all black cause i wasn't as flashy as I am now lol. I have a blazer or two that are more masculine and no I won't be parring them with any hot pants any time soon though. But this video gave me an idea, i nave a lovely leopard print sleevless dress. I can pare it with my black sweater vest, belt and one of my blazers. Probably not my black one, but my brown plaid or wear my cream coloured angora sweater jacket. Shoes though are stumping me, as i am not into heels much anymore as I have MS. I usually do wedges now, which could work or.. wait i have a great pair of red swede flats. I think that would round it out nicely. Or if its raining my combat boots lol. I also have an oversize striped blazer that is statement initself, I need to work on an outfit for that. I need more flowy skirts I think.
Conclusion. Most of it is. Very unappealing to me.
Wearing athletic clothes and shoes has been in the states at least 27 years, as I dressed that way taking my kids to school and wore them all day
Dior's version of short shorts behind the see-through dress yes, but longer like short bike shorts aha
Justine I went through 79 pages of dresses on the Saks website. I was looking for a wool gabardine dress for summer. I love light weight wools, I found 1 dress in wool and 7 dresses in total that I might be interested in. All the dresses were made of polyester from casual to formal wear. The menswear pages had beautiful fabrics. Why are beautiful and quality fabrics reserved for menswear?
Such a great video! I love the sportswear + feminine fashion trend 🤍
Thank you, Justine! I love your take on seasonal trends. PS: I also love that top/sweater. Could you share what sweater you are wearing?
I don’t like the tiny shorts but I love the idea of a soft knit short, a little longer please and I’m in!
But aren't the short shorts something from 2000+? Though at that time you mostly saw jeans short shorts at the daytime, while the other fabric short shorts could be seen at the clubs.
What body type and size will be trendy in 2024?
The tiny shorts are a luxury trend – not for public transit. If I was a professional dancer, I would wear tiny shorts to a party if going by private transportation. The trend mixing delicate/substantial textures for a masculine/feminine vibe works better reversed, as Justine suggested – a pair of rugged pants and a floating delicate blouse. Or even less effort, maybe a masculine look over all with a statement feminine accent piece – like a single giant flower earring , playing off the flower trend.
tiny shorts with sheer tights are common in Berlin Late Winter/Early Spring.
