Thanks for this, Justine. I'm petite and wear plus sizes so I understand people's hesitation to wear boxier silhouettes and styles but I think that's why the belts are the best part of all these looks. I recently stopped wearing fitted jeans and opted for more relaxed fits and I've found that that's made me more playful with silhouette. You can always incorporate what you like and discard what you don't. I love big scarves and chunky boots so that's easy to add into my winter wardrobe.

Why do most of these designers look like they curated these pieces from the Goodwill Outlet? 🤔 They remind me of ultra poor people who have to wear almost everything they own at once, whether it matches or not. I’ll skip them and stick to classic Chanel type styles.

Hmm, I don't follow every trend. My brand didn't appear🙁. This year for the winter it is also based on men's clothing, which I liked and something towards the late 60s and early 70s. And for spring also in the direction of British, but with a leaning towards punk. I'll probably do that, it'll be available soon and I think it's also suitable for autumn. Incidentally, I only buy things so that I can wear them for longer and combine them, which works quite well for my brand. I also want to make the look more individual with something vintage.

thank you for this preview of winter. I love it but I"m English so it's second nature to me! However, I live in Australia so I shop and curate my seasonal wardrobes way ahead! I shop around and really enjoy the process, especially with your references. I find I really look forward to getting to the next season while enjoying the one I'm in…currently spring/summer. Doing it this way also allows me to shop online and also in op shops or vintage shops . I'm 73 and somehow never tire of wanting to stay on trend. I am a lover of Vivian Westwood and am longing to wear my plaid skirt next winter!!! Thank you Justine! xx

Thanks so much for your video. I like the draping scarves and muted tones. On the streets here I've also noticed more shiny fabrics, especially for skirts. It looks pretty. I think a nice compliment to these trends are any kind of metallic accent. I like belts but can't wear them postpartum so I wear large gold or silver earrings. I was happy to notice one of the models wearing big metallic earrings as well. Any other metallic accents look sharp and chic, like the Chloe belt, but it doesn't have to be at the waist.
Love drapey leather! Luxurious, but I can not afford it as full set, neither is it suitable for my social position and demands of my daily life. Still, I could make myself a tone-in-tone belt like rope or something like that.
I love tartans. I think I will sew an overskirt I can wear over pants, slacks, trousers. I love drapey shawls – and there were also drapey arms and asymmetrical drapey lapels.
Fresh view for the eyes. I also love the idea we can now play with menswear – I have strong upper arms (muscle training) so few pieces of ready to wear female wardrobe suit me. With menswear I have no trouble, my arms and shoulders have enough space, my long hands are covered. But I do not want to look like a woman wanting to look like a man, but a woman who used some gents clothing items for cross-dressing. I find male knitwear usually more comfortable and easily wearable than ladies knitwear.

I always enjoy your Spring and Autumn trend reports! I’m not a British countryside type, but I like it best out of these styles because of the creativity it inspires. Second, I am interested in wearing my trousers so I would go for a casual menswear look.

Hi, Justine! I just found your channel, so this is the first video I have watched of yours so far. I love your summary; however, I would LOVE to see a segment where you translate these trends onto a normal human being at a high-street level perhaps. Maybe you have done that before, but I would have loved to have seen that with a few of these looks! I am short and fluffy, so I just wonder how wearing these boxy looks would work on me. I have a feeling I know! I suspect most of us would have to do modified versions for sure!
I love the drapey and asymmetric looks, they seem much more comfortable and figure flattering.
British countryside has my vote. As a lover of Ralph Lauren 1980's and 90's, many of my classic keepers will be right on trend….with a little tweaking!

I'm a huge fan of 80s fashion – so seeing the British country side preppy look coming back into main stream fashion is bit of a downer (because I enjoyed rocking this style on my own).
I must admit – REAL FASHION is hardly worn on the streets – the majority of women just don't have the confidence to draw attention 😉
