The looser way reminds me of how I wore jeans when I was pregnant as a poor teen mom in 1997 . Loop hair tie around the button, through the button hole and back around the button. Voila! Maternity jeans lol
I hate wearing belts but personally i hate this more so oh well, i know a lot of people like this though, just not for me.
I don’t even dislike belts that much, i wouldn’t care at all if they didn’t constantly try to go above the top of my pants. I also have to poke multiple new holes in my belts but thats not that big of a deal
