I only wear puff in warm weather anyway
I like puff sleeves!
Loved that show wish there was more of it. I think others look good in puff sleeves but on me i would look ridiculous and make my arms look fatter than they already are
I am such an Anne of Green Gables video person. Whenever I felt sad or down, I would put in the video and watch it and I found her so inspirational and real. I learned a lot from that movie/series.
Love this video. Your on point with luxury, just went to Paris and purchased from LV, honestly the whole buying experience has even lost it’s excitement and regret giving them my money!
What happened to
Colored jeans? I don’t see anyone talking about them? How about some maroon jeans?
With theft on the rise I’m wearing my cross body bag I’m not taking my chances because of fashion trends . Lol
I love baggy jeans!❤
Im liking the Coach brand lately…not terribly expensive and very pretty.
Im 60 n i love my leggins, but i wear with Chunky shirts,so comfortable,i dont think ever will be out of style.😊
Never liked the Chunky sneaker.😮
Ziba needs to say , “AAAY!!!!!!! I don’t make the trends, I just report ‘em!!!!!!!!” 😁😁😁. Xo lovelies
I think there's a lot to be said for supporting your local leatherworkers and small fashion businesses. You can find some lovely, well-made, well-designed bags, belts, wallets, and so forth at art/craft fairs, horse shows, and other events where craftspeople sell their wares. Their booths always smell wonderful, too.
I was OBSESSED with that version of Anne of Green Gables.
Yes!!! Anne of Green Gables!
Anne of Green Gables – Yes! ❤️
I don’t remember who said it but someone famous said ( and I agree) “Trends are for the anxious.” My mother gave me good advice when I was young, She said wear what flatters you and what makes you feel good. Wear the clothes- don’t let the clothes wear you. I haven’t forgotten and am always comfortable in what I wear, never even think about it.
Omg I love Anne of Green Gables ❤
In the 1960s and certainly in the 1970s, women were working outside the home, and balancing many lives in one. The shoulder bag was considered the most liberating purse ever, and women don't want to go back to bothersome little "pocketbooks." The crossbody is essential for city and travel. Less likely to be stolen. Regarding the small handbags, I was stupid enough to spend a small fortune on two beauties in the early 2000s. Ridiculous. Had to carry a leather briefcase along with those things!
Yes i won't own Chanel.
Meanwhile, in Europe, we hunt for the craftmanship with local artisans, and small local brands. Luxury and style are two separate things, and big fashion brands have lost that over profit. Go for high quality, not high fashion/high trends. Those fade.
Funny, you would be such a great person to "hand down fashion treasures"as you mention…and you have two boys who currently look disinterested in feminine styling. Same deal here. 2 boys, both done with college now. …Lacrosse /Football/Golf heads, no interest in my closet. I did, however bond with my son's GF 💕 teaching her to sew. We did a refashion of one of my son's old preppy button-downs (peach gingham large check) , changing it to a square neck , puff sleeve sexy crop. 😍
Tell it to me straight, I can take it….Even my Hermes Evelyne ? bawwwwwwwwwwl…NO! Tell me! thx
So glad I never succumbed to the super-chunky dad sneaker. I always thought those Balenciagas looked like Frankenstein shoes – so unflattering and clunky. 🥴
I’ll move to my handheld and shoulder bags during my daily life but I’m sticking to my crossbody bags for vacation. Much more secure and hard to steal.
Anne, with an E, is my hero 😻
The wide leg jeans only just came in though
Mixing metals is an amazing idea!! I'm starting today

Bags are very situation specific. Although the crossbody maybe less trendy across the board, it comes down to when and where you wear it. Great video! ❤
Speaking of controversy – Balenciaga's child sexploitation. Imo, that goes way beyond controversial. It was an intentionally degenerate ad by Balenciaga possibly meant to gauge how far they could push the public's limit. I'm glad the public pushed back. Yet you displayed runners by the brand and didn't mention it.
Luxury is garbage and generally hideous. I can’t imagine paying a premium to be a billboard. I’m glad it’s falling out.
You can get anything higher quality and well fitted for significantly less by just finding someone that custom makes things. It can support your country or community too. I’m going to get a jacket made. I’m signed up for silversmithing myself. It feels more personal and fun if I’m going to drop money.
There are beautiful, high quality bags that don’t have the crazy price or flashy label. I love Oroton, which is an iconic Australian brand. Their quality is excellent but the styles are understated (more quiet luxury). I hit the outlet online and do super well. A bag has to be functional for me, first and foremost.
I would not be able to relax one moment carrying anything in my hand with value because as soon as I'm not paying attention to it for a micro-second there is a very strong possibliity it will go missing. It will get left somewhere, guaranteed. If something is not attached to me I don't even consider it as an option.
I usually never follow trends but i am glad to see the cross body bag trend die. I just cant bring myself to do it.
I’m sorry I’ve been using this style of holding my clutch back since the 70s. It’s not a new trend. It’s just retro.
Love, love, love my GoldenGoose. They are the pairs I reach for most and feel amazing to wear.
Trends are fun as long as they're not treated as divine edicts. I prefer to think of them (when I think of them at all) as an invitation to try something new, rather than an order to abandon things I love that may not be this year's "it" look. As far as I'm concerned, as long as you combine the elements of an outfit carefully, there are very few individual items that are so far out of fashion as to be unwearable (and on the rare occasions that does happen, it's generally something so horrifically ugly we must all have been insane to buy it in the first place!)
