Minute 14:03 , Why? Because it is tradition in Norway (&Sweden) to wear the national costume (nationaldräkt) at weddings if You have got one. This wasn’t an ”official” royal wedding but rather a private affair (as M-M is not a working royal) , so it was totally appropriate and normal to wear the national costume

My favourite Royal wedding look ever is Lady Gabriella Windsor's. Not only was it gorgeous but it would be appropriate for any age bracket – a truly amazing feat IMO

Their wedding invitation said that they wanted people to wear their traditional outfits. It is considered to be our best attire and is only used for special occasions. The outfits comes from different regions of Norway and because the king represents the entire country he, nor his son, the next in line, will never wear a traditional outfit.

P.S.: The word "Cummerbund" is correct….I always thought it was "Cumberbund". It's a common American mispronunciation!

A princess over fifty, divorced and marrying a bisexual man in a white wedding dress with decoltage and no sleeves. Märta Louise gives us occasion to laugh.
I enjoy the pics the comment was off and sometimes incorrect. But we got a whole closset of shade when it becomes Royal Friends after Epstein and Maxwell the market is closed.
I give this 5 years. Royals are never good outside of the Royal Arena and this one will be no different. It's the English situation all over again. The grifters of the world have realized that the greatest grifts are the royal families of the world. Filled with children that have been wrapped in cotton wool their whole lives and never come across a grifter before. Easy mark.
