true story: Frayed jeans can be dangerous! In the 1970s, when everyone was wearing frayed bell bottoms, both I and a guy I was in the arc welding booth in HS with, had our jeans catch fire. First my frayed hems, we put it out the flames; then his jeans caught on fire. Be careful around any flames or sparks!

If you look at historic fashions…or even some old movies…you can see styles that still look attractive, as well as fads that continue to look horrible. Develop your own taste and don't spend money on foolish, ugly things.

Begging women not to wear pointed toe shoes. They mot only DESTROY your feet and you will, I promise, pay for it when you get older, but, in order to get a proper fit, you will be adding two to three visual sizes to your foot. Do you really want your size 7 foot look like a size 10? And seriously ladies, skinny jeans. Just say no. They are soooo tacky and unflattering.

My closet i full of timeless classics that do not go out of style. We can always add a current accessory…less cost and loss when they fade out.

I have to disagree on this point. Pointed toe.shoes are ugly, and if you have larger feet like size 10. You look like you have boats for feet.
I have never heard of denim jackets being out of style. Sorry, but I’ll take a classic denim jacket that I can wear for as long as the fabric holds out over a trendy “stylish” denim jacket that’ll make me look like a clown next year. I’m so glad more people are opting to just wear what looks good on them instead of wasting their money on trends.

The thing that I don't understand is what are you supposed to do with all the items and clothing from prior years? Seems to me this is a great way to end up with anxiety and broke.. Show how to incorporate pieces and shoes. Not tossing a $400 pair of flats cause "somebody"" tells me not in style or I am out of trend (trend vs fashion)…Remember the question, "if your friend jumps off a bridge would you?" Yipes🤔😂
Whenever the style changes enough from what I’m wearing I just buy one new pair of jeans and aliexpress jewelry to go with whatever dated shirts and shoes Im going to wear. The pants are the largest amount of cloth you wear, so I figure change the largest most visible item, and you can wear the same jeans many times in a week. And then the trendy inexpensive jewelry can be paired with everything to make it look more modern.
You should ditch that hairstyle it looks old-fashioned and out of place not trying to be mean
