I agree a scant is trying way too hard.. I have an angular skirt over linen pants, it works well.

Absolutely, and have you noticed how quick 4RA loads? Betting in seconds, so cool!
Just tried the 4ra platform, super smooth and easy to use.
The accessories details in this video are the finishing touch! It instantly enhances the overall look. amzaccs
Agree! ❤
I will stay clear of anything barrel. In my opinion makes people look deformed 😅
I really dont like the sandles when they wrap all up the legs
Fantastic vid totally agree 😍😍😍🫶🏿🫶🏿🫶🏿❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Excelente!!!
I agree with you -lace for doilies are ok -I guess but I like classic timeless fashion
And you get a weird tan on your legs
So glad you suggest to give barrel legs a go! A slim, petite friend has We the Free People ones and looks stunning! Shame that particular brand is so expensive so I am going to sew my own to give them a try.
NOPE to both barrel sleeves and pants. No self-respecting woman would wear lingerie in public. Demure, to me, is classically elegant, not grandmotherly, which is what these looks are. Designers are getting more ridiculous by the day.
I agree with all your points in this video! A lot of the trends don't work in real life living! – Michelle
I absolutely love my sheer sweater. It’s fabulous!
I like gladiator sandals. For one thing, they often cover the back of the foot, which I find comfortable. They always come and go, and it makes sense they would be in now. But I often wear them.
Nothing you displayed caught my interest at all. I am confident I would not wear them at my age. However, I did wear preppy and bow tie looks to work in the 80’s when they were last in fashion. Not necessary these days.
Spot on!
One leg trousers?? Why why why , do love oversized clothing though, at 62 I’m just careful on what it is and how oversized it is.

I honestly love the generally oversized look for casual wear. Is it a bit juvenile? Absolutely. And, sometimes, that's absolutely what I'm aiming for.

I have sheer blue pants but with inbuilt shorts underneath 😅 bought them from target a few years ago 👌 I also have gladiator sandles that zip up the back 👌
One leg pants. For which season? Too hot or too cold. Just trying to find anything new to flog. Lingerie dressing feels very nineties. Ok with jeans and small cardigan or suit jacket- possibly in twenties or thirties.
Yuck-barrel leg jeans- if you want to go big, stick with straight wide leg or even flares.
100% agree
Off subject , but is that a bathtub in the living room!?

I am agreeing with all your observations and judgments
Nothing wrong with wearing damage/distress sweaters because they still a style vibe. Too late on sheer pants because I have a few 10 years or older. Always can use layering by wearing stocking or leggings or wear tunic length tops or blazers. Have buckle gladiators sandals that probably will work and some lace up leg shoe also that do okay but not for vigorous walking for sure. I totally in love with oversize blazer because having large chest i feel comfortable and can layer underneath. Changing up accessories is important if wearing vintage vibe item because it can come off time capsule on older ages
Don’t waste your money on what you don’t love . Period. 😅
You’re so right – one leg in/out, sheer and wrap sandals is 👎
Yes, I think the "demure" trend took a wrong turn at some point. There are some elements that might work and be nice (peter pan collars, a nice smaller bow), but the pleated dresses with the pumps – no, absolutely not.
I agree with you about designers. So many of them style for women under 30…going to a club. lol. I love to see looks anyone can rock and feel good in! ❤
Have designers finally run out of original ideas?
Lotsa pantskirts in the school scened in "Wicked." Fun.
The one leg pant(s?) is only good for dance costume!😅
❤❤❤❤
Awful clothes ugly makes me wonder what these designers are on ( cracked in the head and off their rockers ) . Made to make women look ugly . Boxy over sized unflattering to beauty of women’s figures .
