As someone who doesn’t follow most trends – I gotta say that I watch these videos and a ton of others just to see what other people are doing and see why what items are popular from the perspective of people that actually wear them.

I think people like videos about trends, because the everyday person are usually average in their approach to everyday fashion and so every John and Jane Doe want to be in the know, whether it's for better social acceptance, dressing for self confidence, or because they are interested but don't know where to start.
This is a great medium to inform and put people on game.
P.S. you need to either move where you camera is or figure out a way to angle your mic to the right ( the viewers left) so you can have more room to show your fit.
