I rarely hear anyone using the word "poignant" and as a teacher I just have to share that the word "pertinent" would work much better and is probably the word that you mean to use. For Last 3 yrs im usually wearing skinny jeans but it is absolutely counterintuitive to looking taller instead makes me look shorter and chubbier🤦♀️
I never had owned a high rise or a jump suit; after watching this video I was so inspired I got pointed pumps now I’m going to get jump suit and high rise jeans as well as trying to dress in monoclomatic color. Lord have mercy I was doing it all wrong trying to color contrast

I am 5’3” and I now do mid rise jeans bootcut. Because mid rise is high rise on my short torso.
The idea that height determines confidence or power is misleading. Confidence comes from within, not from how tall you are or how you dress. People of all heights can be powerful and self-assured—it's about embracing who you are, not trying to fit . So please stop saying if you want to feel powerful and confident dress certain way to be taller!!!

Veronica Beard jacket – Long sleeves need altering or turned up. As petite women, we forget that the store-bought sleeves can look messy and not good. Better to have them tailored, alter them yourself, or just roll up the cuff.

Petite used to be 5’2” or shorter. Then manufacturers went to 5’4”.
AND petite is an over all proportion including narrower shoulders across the back. Shorter from neck to waist from 1” to 1 1/2”. And surprisingly, the rise from waistband in back through crotch to front waistband can be longer. (Than a regular women’s)

Just a comment about highrise pants: for some of us petites the problem is not always the lenght of our legs but rather the «shortness»of our torsos. On me highrise pants both looks ridiculous and feels extremely uncomfortable. I find lowrise and midrise much more flattering, and they also feels supercomfortable. Although these highrise days they are almost impossible to find😢

Do you think its worth the price? Is the fabric quality or too thin? Is it sheer to the point that you need to wear a million things underneath? What are you wearing underneath it? Just a cami? Would you take it on a trip to Europe in the summer? What shoes would you wear with it? Did you need to get it hemmed? I'm short and always hate trying to find someone to hem my quality pieces.
